Blanc de Blancs | Ethereal and aromatic

Born from a wish to create something unique, the Cuvée de l’Imagineur is a wine blended “in the vineyard”. Made according to the traditional method*, it comprises six varietals that are grown, pressed, then vinified together, from a vineyard in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Very ethereal and aromatic, at once fruity and floral, it tantalizes the taste buds with its vivacity and freshness.

Its lovely bubbles are a pale gold color. The nose is fine and elegant, suggesting notes of white blossom, overlaid with a subtle buttery touch. In the mouth, the attack is vigorous and fresh, before gently evolving into a harmonious combination of flavors.

Spontaneous pairings: From the simplest to the most sophisticated matches, anything is possible with the Cuvée de l’Imagineur, so let your imagination run wild.

The Cuvée de l'Imagineur was created in 2009 from a blend of six varietals planted four years earlier in a small plot in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the home of Louis Bouillot. Harvested for the first time in 2008, these vines are all local varietals: Chardonnay, Auxerrois, Aligoté, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Chardonnay Muscaté. The unique location of this vineyard, right next to a basin creating a natural microclimate, allows it to reach excellent maturity. Ageing for more than 12 months on laths gives this special cuvée some lovely subtle aromas.
