Our Crémants de Bourgogne / Perle d'Aurore

Perle d'Aurore

“The idea of our rosé is to capture all the fruit right from the start. It is aged on the lees for just three months after the harvest to keep as much of its fresh character as possible in the bottle.” Frédéric Brand, oenologist

A little Gamay colour
Once upon a time, in Beaujolais, a neighbouring region in the south of Burgundy, there was a curious, very dark, very fragrant little grape called Gamay. This was the grape we went looking for in the depths of the Pays des Pierres Dorées (Land of the Golden Stones) with its ochre limestone, in the southern part of Belleville, to give a little extra something to the somewhat serious character of our Burgundy Pinot Noir. The Gamay brings out its generous, amiable side: like two brothers, they get on very well together, and while the Pinot is dominant, its expansive alter-ego is given intense expression!

Unexpected
Fresh colour, generous palate.
A great charmer made with a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gamay.
Generous and seductive with a palette of fresh, fruity flavours.
Unanimously popular, to be enjoyed on all occasions for a faultless performance!

Refined pairings
This Crémant de Bourgogne rosé is sure to surprise with its interesting character and has even more fruitiness than our Perle de Vigne! It goes well with taramasalata for harmonious colours, or with the Greek flavours of tzatziki, served with fresh toast.
It can also be paired with fruit of the same colour: strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants, or lychees.

"Perle d'Aurore is an elegant, stylish way to surprise your friends.” - Frédéric Brand, oenologist
