Fruity and delicate
An ode to the great Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir, this plot is opposite the Clos de Vougeot with its exceptional Grand Cru terroir! The vines are planted wide and high, well rooted in deep marly clay soil. Pinot Noir reigns supreme on the 4.82 hectares and is given full expression with notes of fresh red fruit.
A very elegant, balanced Crémant de Bourgogne for cellaring, with delicate aromas of red fruit, vine peaches, fresh bread and honey. The grape variety is generously expressed in the long finish, with a hint of bitterness, a sign of the wine’s fiery youthfulness.
Food and wine pairing: pink meats, such as veal tenderloin, seasonal baby vegetables, pan-fried mushrooms.
An outstanding year
The harvests took place in sunshine and the grapes were healthy with a fine ripeness. Quantities were low, but wines with a flawless balance of acidity, fruitiness and roundness certainly made up for it. On tasting, the grapes displayed delicate aromas and a liveliness, promising a vintage of great potential.
