The 2023 harvest

Official harvest date in our Couchois vineyard!

Direction toward the south of Burgundy and the first cuts of pruning shears in our plot planted with Pinot Noir. Emblematic grape variety of Burgundy which gives life to Crémants of incomparable finesse.

Only happiness with grapes at optimal maturity and presenting a beautiful balance between sugar and acidity. Magnificent grapes which reward the care given to the vines throughout the year.

This year's weather conditions served this vintage in the making. A mild and stable spring, allowing uniform flowering of the vines. A summer that oscillated between intense heat peaks and unexpected rains, the vines had to draw on their resources to maintain their balance. This resilience is reflected in the grapes, which, against all odds, have reached admirable maturity.

2023 offers us the prospect of a wine that will reflect an exceptional year. A vintage to follow closely.
