Blending of the Grands Terroirs
A remarkable illustration of the art of blending, this cuvée combines three wines with the Grands Terroirs status: Les Trois Saints, Dessus-les-Vermots and Les Grands Rayes-Blanc, with Chablis if there is an affinity.
Very noble origins
The reds come from the Côte d'Or: Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, famous for its rustic red grands crus, and Savigny-Lès-Beaune, further south, with its softer terroirs. The whites come from Saint Véran, Saint Aubin, Saint Romain, high terroirs if that can be said in Burgundy, cooler in any case!
The union of the most superb grapes
Like the classic cuvées, it blends both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Burgundy’s two great grapes, which together go further, which together are stronger, more beautiful, more powerful, in a word more complex!
Sophisticated and lively, this wine seduces with its roundness and expresses itself with character. Its rich nose and structured palate offer a timeless tasting experience.
O time suspend your flight...
Precisely, its last asset and without doubt an essential one, the immense time it spends in the cellars, in barrels, which gives the wine a patina, slowly polishes it and brings it far, very far, into the incomparable richness of maturity...
Flavourful pairings: seafood for an ocean alliance, fish in sauce, mushroom cream soup or cushion of veal for a more mellow pairing, or pressed cheeses such as a 24-month-old Comté for a powerful pairing.
