Crémant de Bourgogne Vintage Éminent |
Power and vigor

Perle Rare 2017 is about the harmonious complementarity of the four emblematic Burgundy varietals of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté, and Gamay and the richness of the terroirs on the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, and in the Châtillonnais, the Couchois, the Mâconnais, and the Beaujolais. A minimum of 36 months ageing enhances this fresh and floral vintage cuvée.

A lovely pale-yellow color with hints of gold. The foam is abundant and the nose is expressive and elegant over aromas of white blossom such as honeysuckle and acacia. It then opens up to flinty mineral notes. In the mouth, this wine surprises by its power and vigor, marked by notes of fresh fruit like Golden Delicious apples, complemented by sophisticated hints of toast over a long, lemony, and indulgent finish.

Delicate pairings
: A sophisticated aperitif or with fresh asparagus followed by grilled sea bass, with a financier to finish.

After the late 2016 vintage, 2017 was a sunny one, with early ripening allowing harvesting to begin on 30 August. The grapes offered wonderful vigor and good acidic balance. Perle Rare 2017 is a Crémant de Bourgogne Éminent that is eminently aromatic and more floral than opulent, offering good keeping potential.

This wine is like a movie!

Earliness and sweetness play the main roles in this sunny vintage.

Chardonnay, the dominant white grape, and then Aligoté in the background, express their fresh, mineral character in the Côte d'Or and Beaujolais.

A portrayal of bubbles in black and white: the power is in the Pinot, which makes up a third of the blend. A tracking shot for the long finish leaves a lemony impression, transporting you through the elegant vineyards of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Nez de Cyrano. Zoom in on the spring, with its notes of white flowers, honeysuckle, and acacia accompanied by the buzzing of bees! A close-up of flint.

One sip and the scene changes: an image of fresh fruit, with golden delicious apples as guest star, and a walk-on part for toast. Superb depth of field. Power explodes on the screen against a backdrop of snow. Marilyn bathes in sparkling wine.
A beautifully crafted scene in natural light, with perfect editing, the end lingering poignantly, in short, magnificent.
