Crémant de Bourgogne, Terroirs Sélectionnés | Minerality and high-breeding
Perle de Molesme is sober and powerful, like the Cistercian order whose stamp it bears. It owes its name to the Benedictine monk Robert de Molesme, who left the abbey of Molesme in 1098 to found a new monastic order in Cîteaux. This northerly terroir offers a wine that is both powerful and mineral, with a unique personality. This is because it is mainly made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grown in our vineyards in the emblematic village of Molesme in the Châtillonnais region, where the Côte d’Or department meets the Aube.
