Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs | Charm and breadth

This cuvée brings together three appellations in which the varietal notes vie to interpret their respective terroir, blending their personality into an elegant whole. Its name is inspired by the three “saint” villages on the Côte de Beaune and the Mâconnais where the grapes are grown: Saint-Aubin, Saint-Romain, and Saint-Vérand. It is a Crémant de Bourgogne with aromatic complexity for refined drinking, just like the great noble Chardonnays.

A golden color and creamy, abundant mouse. On the nose, it is powerful and airy, with great aromatic complexity that opens up to reveal aromas of vanilla and freshly-baked bread, followed by notes of white blossom and quince. On the tongue, it is a fleshy yet well-balanced wine, and the vanilla is enhanced by notes of pêche de vigne and pear. This Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs, is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and makes an elegant companion for all kinds of cuisine, both gastronomic and traditional.

Elegant combinations: Foie gras, ravioli with scallops, an avocado and salmon salad, or even gingerbread.

2010
was a delicate one in many ways. It was cold and wet, which slowed down the growth cycle, followed by tricky flowering in June and a late harvest mid-September. But all the hard work to keep things on track was rewarded by high-quality grapes that produced balanced wines with fine aromatic intensity and good keeping potential. Hailing from marl limestone soils interlaced with banks of clay, this cuvée reveals a powerful and airy character. Ageing for six years, partially in oak barrels, has allowed it to achieve excellent aromatic complexity.
